Statement
from the band(posted 05.21.04 by Keavin )
• As
many of you have heard, our brother Ricky has been diagnosed with a serious
illness. He is battling cancer and we know you will all remember
him in your prayers. Ricky is being treated on the east coast, and
we will keep you updated on his progress.
Enuff Znuff
continues marching forward. For the last few months, our good friend Randi
from Supermint has been filling in during Ricky's absence and is doing
a fantastic job drumming, and even sings harmonies. A new studio record,
WITH DONNIE, was finished last week and will be released in Japan on Pony
Canyon next month. Derek Frigo and Vikki Foxx are on several songs.
Releases in the United States and Europe will follow, along with tours
of Japan, Europe and America. We are excited about the new songs and can't
wait to play them for you.
We thank
you all for your love and support.
Peace,
Chip and
Donnie

• There has
been a lot of speculation about Ricky and he wanted to check in with everyone
with an update about what's been going on with him. "Hi everyone, this
is Ricky. I have been battling health issues since I have been back
from Rehab. These health issues have NOTHING to do with my previous
drug use according to the doctors. In between hospital stays, Dr. appointments,
tests, etc., I have been working on my solo album. A lot of you may
be surprised to hear my songs which I wrote myself. I will be singing
and playing all the instruments myself on the album. I would like to apologize
to everyone for not being able to be at the most recent shows. I
would like to thank you all for their support."
